Historical Sites

The town of Richibucto believes in the importance of protecting one’s local history. It recognizes the importance of conserving and preserving one’s heritage and it wants to make sure its citizens will not forget their history. To this end, and with the support of the New Brunswick Historical Site Program, the town of Richibucto is presently in the process of indexing a total of 13 historical sites.

These sites represent a very important aspect of Richibucto’s culture and heritage. Certain sites date back many decades and most are still being used today.

Richibucto is a town rich in history and these 13 sites are a testimony to that fact.
