The Scallop Festival
July 14th to July 18th 2010
Scallop Festival week is an adventure you will not soon forget. It is an event full of activities and entertainment for all ages, held during the second week of July. Here are some of the more popular events: music every night, a bazaar
along Main Street, a youth dance, a greased pole competition and a parade of boats adorned with lights. The week winds up with fireworks near the water which are always a hit
in this region. Don’t forget to take advantage of the festivities and savor some of the amazing fresh scallops that are sold throughout the
whole week of the festival.
The 40th edition of the Richibucto Scallop Festival will be held from July 14th to July 18th, 2010.
