The Downtown Committee

In 2006, the town of Richibucto created the Downtown Revitalization Committee, whose main task was to give back to the downtown area its early charm. The sum of $50,000.00 was invested in order to support the committee’s first initiative which was to hire the Fondation Rues Principales, specialized in the revitalization of downtown areas.

Over the next few years, major work will be done to revitalize façades in order to give buildings a maritime look, which is what characterizes the Richibucto region. Grants are being offered to businesses that will invest in this project.

Bylaw 08-XX makes it possible for business people to obtain up to a maximum of $20,000.00 for landscaping around their building.
